Foundation
This page is for those who see what ONDAS could become and want to help build it. Not as users, but as founding members of a private foundation directly linked to ONDAS and its development. Contributions above $40,000 USD — whether direct or through equivalent partnerships — are governed by a dedicated contract and unlock the choice to Fund ONDAS or Major Support it. Your identity is never disclosed. Your name is never associated with your contribution. You are part of what this becomes, invisibly and permanently.
What This Is
ONDAS is free. It will stay free. This page is not about changing that.
This page is about what makes free sustainable. Every screenplay saved, every collaboration enabled, every story told costs money to support and maintain. ONDAS does not generate revenue by itself. It depends on Patreon contributors and the founding-tier support of those who believe in what it is building.
Some people understand this and want to help build what ONDAS could become. Not by using it. By founding it. Not as patrons, but as members of the ONDAS Foundation, a private, closed group directly linked to ONDAS and its development. Membership is permanent. Anonymity is absolute.
If that describes you, contact us.
For Whom
This is not a page for small contributions. The Patreon exists for that. This page is for those willing to provide significant support, specifically those considering contributions above $40,000 USD. At that level, you are not simply supporting ONDAS. You are helping found it. You are becoming part of its bones.
This could be a private individual. A foundation with a mission around access and cinema. Someone who understands that control of creative tools is control of storytelling. It could also be a company or individual offering services or partnerships whose cumulative value exceeds that threshold. Commercial arrangements that directly support ONDAS’s growth are considered equivalent to direct contributions at this tier.
You might work in film. You might work in technology. You might simply believe cinema should not be restricted by tool costs or gatekeepers. You might understand that the future of media belongs to whoever builds the infrastructure it uses.
This is not for those seeking equity or board seats. This is for those who understand some things matter enough to back differently and who are comfortable doing so without recognition, without return, and without any trace.
If you are reading this and thinking you could do this, you already know if this is for you. That feeling is your answer.
How It Works
The Conversation
This is not transactional. You do not fill out a form. You email blackbox.macy@gmail.com with what you are thinking. What you believe ONDAS could become. We talk. Not a pitch meeting. A conversation about the future.
If there is alignment, we move forward. If not, you know where you stand. No bureaucracy.
The Foundation
Those who choose to contribute beyond what Patreon offers are invited to join the ONDAS Foundation, a private, closed group of people who have chosen to back this project, who receive direct updates and access, and who are collectively part of what ONDAS becomes.
Membership in the Foundation requires agreement to the ONDAS Terms of Service and Privacy Policy in full. No exceptions or special arrangements are created by membership. There are no governance rights, no equity, no claim on the service or its assets, and no financial return of any kind. Contributions are voluntary, non-refundable, and confer no ownership interest or legal standing over ONDAS or any of its operations.
Anonymity
Anonymity is not a preference — it is the default and the standard. Your identity, your name, your association with ONDAS, and the existence or amount of your contribution will never be disclosed, referenced, logged publicly, or communicated to any third party under any voluntary circumstance. No credit. No mention. No trace. The only exceptions are: if you explicitly request otherwise, in writing, yourself — or if disclosure is compelled by law or legal process, in which case you will be notified to the extent permitted. You are part of what ONDAS becomes — invisibly and permanently.
Contribution Tiers & Contracts
All Foundation contributions are governed by a written Contribution Agreement, a signed document that defines the nature of the transfer, confirms no financial return is expected, and establishes the anonymity and transparency commitments described here. This document protects both parties.
Contributions up to $40,000 USD are processed under the standard Contribution Agreement via the standard payment methods described below. These represent meaningful support for ONDAS and are handled with the same care and confidentiality as all other tiers.
Contributions above $40,000 USD — whether as a single payment, structured recurring payments, or equivalent services provided through a formal partnership — are governed by a dedicated contract prepared by ONDAS. At this level, you are not simply supporting ONDAS. You are founding it. This threshold exists because contributions of this magnitude represent a structural commitment to what ONDAS becomes, and both parties deserve clarity, legal protection, and a formal record of that commitment.
Funding vs. Major Support
For contributions above $40,000 USD, the contributor retains the right to declare — explicitly within the contract — whether they wish to Fund ONDAS or Major Support it. These are meaningfully different.
Funding ONDAS means becoming one of its founders. Those who fund ONDAS at this level are invited into a direct advisory relationship with the project — participating in decisions, shaping partnerships, and contributing to the direction of ONDAS’s growth. This is not governance in the traditional sense. There are no board seats, no veto rights, and no equity. But your voice is heard. Decisions made in collaboration with funders are always subject to final review and approval by Macy Veil, and must be aligned with ONDAS’s vision and philosophy. That is non-negotiable.
Major Support means contributing above the threshold while choosing to remain outside the advisory relationship. Full anonymity. No involvement in decisions. No contact beyond the transparency updates described in this document. Some people prefer it this way. Both paths are equally valued.
Why Not Patreon at This Level?
Contributions above $40,000 USD cannot be processed through Patreon. This is not a preference — it is a requirement, for privacy, legal, and security reasons. Patreon is a public-facing platform not designed to handle transactions of this magnitude, nor to provide the legal documentation, confidentiality protections, or contractual structure that both parties require at this level. Contracts at this tier are handled directly, with the contributor’s own legal counsel present at signing. ONDAS does not provide, recommend, or arrange legal representation. That is your responsibility, and it exists to protect you.
Contributions and partnership arrangements above $40,000 USD — whether structured as single payments or recurring monthly commitments — are configured and confirmed exclusively through the contract prepared by ONDAS for that transaction.
Payment Methods
You choose how this happens. For standard contributions, Wise is the default path: fast, transparent, minimal fees. For those who prefer it, Bitcoin is available at any tier; it is direct, private, and outside traditional financial rails. Both methods are open to discussion depending on your situation and jurisdiction.
Transparency & Accountability
You receive regular updates on where support goes and what it builds. Direct access to Macy. Consultation if you want it. Complete anonymity is the default; your name will never appear anywhere in connection with your contribution unless you explicitly request otherwise.
Where It Goes
Infrastructure
Servers, database replication, encryption, backups. As ONDAS grows, infrastructure costs grow. Support keeps the systems that hold people’s work safe and fast.
The Team
One person built ONDAS. Building what it could become requires more. Backend engineers. Designers. Product strategists. Support brings in the people who can expand the vision.
Community Features
The community requests. Development builds. Collaboration tools, production management, things not yet imagined. Development takes time and people.
The Ecosystem
ONDAS is ultimately not just a tool. Offices in multiple countries. Partnerships with festivals, universities, production companies. A real alternative to existing cinema infrastructure. This requires significant and sustained support.
The Vision
Cinema has gatekeepers. Many of them. Software gatekeepers. Education gatekeepers. Finance gatekeepers. Distribution gatekeepers. They exist because no alternative has been built fast enough.
ONDAS is building that alternative. Not by fighting the existing system. By making it optional. By creating infrastructure so useful and accessible that the next generation of filmmakers simply does not need gatekeepers.
Your support is what makes this possible. In five years. Ten years. Not next quarter.
One important note: ONDAS plans ahead of its own existence. This page exists before the ecosystem is finished. The Patreon existed before the editor was complete. This is intentional. It signals that the vision is the foundation. The tool comes after.
If the scale of this vision ever feels like it is pointing toward monopoly — it is not. ONDAS is a revolution, not a consolidation. The goal is not to own cinema. It is to liberate it. To change not only the infrastructure behind filmmaking, but to demonstrate a new model for how organizations, platforms, and creative industries can operate — one built on openness, independence, and long-term mission over short-term capture.
Growth Scenarios
Scenario One: Small and Significant
ONDAS remains a beloved tool for a dedicated global community. It matters deeply to them. Your support ensured this existed.
Scenario Two: Educational Standard
ONDAS gets adopted by film schools. It becomes what the new generation learns on. The tool becomes standard in education, then in production. Not through force. Through inevitability.
Scenario Three: The Ecosystem
ONDAS grows into what it was designed to be. Writing, collaboration, production, festivals, distribution. A filmmaker can move from blank page to screen without leaving the platform. Without needing traditional gatekeepers.
Whichever scenario unfolds, one thing is true: the existing industry will feel the shift. Not because ONDAS fought them. Because they became unnecessary.
The Shift
Not Replacement, Evolution
ONDAS will not make filmmakers abandon existing tools or software. Linux did not destroy other operating systems. It made them optional. It offered an alternative built on different principles. That is what ONDAS does.
If Tools Become Free
Who can write scripts? Right now, anyone with $249 or willingness to pirate. Soon, anyone with a browser. The barrier becomes zero. Stories that cannot be written because the tool costs too much get written. Stories from places that were priced out of cinema.
If Discovery Changes
Right now, a story only gets made if an agent reads it, a studio believes in it, investors gamble on it. What if filmmakers found each other directly. What if merit became the filter instead of institutional approval. What if permission was not required.
If Education Changes
Film students learn on what is standard. If the standard is ONDAS, they learn thinking cinema is democratic. They learn collaboration instead of gatekeeping. The generation trained on open infrastructure builds differently.
These shifts compound. They restructure who controls cinema. Not because ONDAS forced it. Because ONDAS made alternatives inevitable.
Questions
How Much?
The standard Contribution Agreement covers transactions up to $40,000 USD. Below that threshold, contributions are processed directly via the payment methods described in § 02. There is no stated minimum.
Above $40,000 USD, a dedicated contract governs the arrangement — whether structured as a single payment, monthly commitments, or an equivalent partnership in services. At this level, the contributor also chooses whether to Fund ONDAS (entering an advisory relationship with the project) or Major Support it (contributing at the same level while remaining fully anonymous and uninvolved). That choice is made explicitly within the contract. All contributions, regardless of amount or structure, are treated with identical confidentiality: voluntary, anonymous, non-refundable, and without expectation of financial return.
What About Equity?
ONDAS is not seeking equity partnerships. It seeks to remain independent and sustainable, not build toward exit. Voluntary contributions do not confer ownership, equity, or any financial claim on ONDAS or its assets. Contributions are made freely, are non-refundable, and carry no right of recourse. If you seek ownership stakes or financial returns, this is not the right path.
How Do I Know The Money Is Used Right?
You have transparency and honesty. Direct access to Macy. Regular updates on what was built. You trust or you do not. This is support for a person and a vision, not a contract with guarantees.
What If ONDAS Never Becomes What We’re Describing?
It might not. The vision is ambitious. Execution is hard. Resistance is real. You are supporting an attempt by someone who has already built something real. That attempt might fail. Your contribution is part of the attempt, made entirely of your own volition, with full understanding that it may not produce any outcome. ONDAS makes no guarantees, express or implied, about the future of the platform or the use of contributions beyond the transparency commitments described above.
What’s The Timeline?
Not next quarter. Three to five years minimum before institutional adoption. Five to ten years before the full ecosystem. This is a long-term commitment, not a short-term transaction.
